The Joseph Ncho Foundation is committed to reducing healthcare disparities in the North West Region of Cameroon by providing direct support to vulnerable populations and under-resourced facilities. Through strategic fundraising initiatives, we assist select healthcare institutions in upgrading infrastructure and operations, while also ensuring that indigenous citizens—particularly women, children, and orphans—receive the critical medical attention they deserve. We partner with local orphanages to improve the quality of life for children through access to healthcare, nutrition, education, and safe living conditions. Our work prioritizes the dignity and well-being of every individual we serve.

Includes:

Fundraising in support of local healthcare facilities

Financial support for patients unable to afford care, especially women and children

Procurement and donation of modern medical equipment

Partnership with orphanages to support children’s health, education, and basic needs

Recognizing the importance of sustainable impact, the Foundation actively works to build the capacity of the region’s healthcare ecosystem. By enlisting highly skilled Cameroonian medical professionals in the diaspora—such as those in the Association of Cameroon Physicians in the Americas—we support medical missions that provide both free healthcare services and professional training. In addition, we offer ongoing education and values-based development for medical professionals and hospital staff, reinforcing excellence, teamwork, innovation, and compassionate care as the cornerstone of quality service.

The Foundation advocates for a healthcare system that upholds human dignity, compassion, and professional integrity. We champion the rights of patients and work to ensure that all individuals receive respectful, humane treatment within medical facilities. We also promote mechanisms of accountability to address negligence and substandard care, holding medical professionals to the highest ethical and professional standards. Through these efforts, we aim to foster a culture of trust, responsibility, and justice in healthcare delivery.
